We're a small team building a modern MongoDB workspace: a native desktop app that pairs a keyboard-first GUI with an AI query assistant, a BI-grade Report Builder, team sharing, RBAC and enterprise-grade security.

We're built in the UAE, remote-first, and small on purpose. We don't have VP-of-Fake-Title roles, ping-pong tables, or a careers page full of stock photos. When we open a role, it will be listed here, not scraped out of a template. Until then, if you're the kind of engineer or operator who reads the changelog for fun, write to us. We read everything.

02 · How we work · Six principles

Culture before perks.

Filter in people who like how we operate. Filter out everyone else. This isn't a wish-list. This is the operating manual.

Remote-first. No office requirement.

We sync when we need to, async by default. Writing is the primary medium. If it isn't written down, it didn't happen.

UAE timezone friendly.

Core overlap is GMT+4 business hours, Sunday through Thursday. ±4 hours works well. Deep-work blocks matter more than presenteeism.

Small team, small meetings.

Engineers ship end-to-end. There's no PM → engineer → QA hand-off. You own the feature from spec to production to post-incident review.

Ship every week.

We cut rolling dev builds weekly and release meaningful improvements constantly. The changelog is the scoreboard. See /changelog.

Async communication wins.

Decisions happen in writing. PRs, design docs and post-mortems are the currency. Meetings are for unblocking, not status updates.

High technical bar. Low ceremony.

Deep ownership, pragmatic reviews, no performance theatre. We hire people who disagree with us gracefully, and who have the receipts.

Low-pressure chat with the team. We talk about what you've built and what you're looking for. No scripted screen.

Technical conversation

~60 minutes

A working session on real problems: architecture, trade-offs, how you reason under ambiguity. No whiteboard trivia.

Paired exercise

take-home or live

A small, scoped problem close to what we do day-to-day. Time-boxed. We pay for your time if the take-home exceeds ~3 hours.

Founder conversation
